Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the backend development team, including conducting 1-on-1 meetings and managing team operations.
- Define technical strategy and coding standards, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural solutions.
- Plan and manage the software development lifecycle, including task estimation, resource allocation, and project oversight.
- Collaborate with other technical leaders, product teams, and stakeholders to achieve company-wide objectives.
- Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.
- Organize and conduct regular technical reviews and code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Address complex technical challenges and support the team in resolving technical issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Backend Developer or in a similar role.
- Experience leading development teams, including as a technical leader or architect.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with core backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration, and deployment systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
